When we said in a previous post that these humanitarian and human right organizations "smell" suspicious... we were not kidding. Remember the plans for the one world order? One religion, one language, one army, etc? Here is one good example. Instead of defending the poor and hungry in Africa, the war-torn victims of Syria, the Christians all over the world who are being murdered for their beliefs, or even the grey wolf which is going extinct, Amnesty International is now slamming governments for enforcing laws that force youths to respect their military service!
On Monday, Amnesty International condemned Greece over a “wave of prosecutions of conscientious objectors. The organization said on its website that the prosecution and punishment of Greeks for refusing to perform military service on conscientious grounds “violates their right to freedom of conscience” while it expressed concern over “the punitive nature” of the alternative civilian service in Greece, which at 15 months is much longer than the nine months’ military service in the army, where the majority of conscripts serve.
Obviously Amnesty International has solved all the other problems in the world, has banished famines, poverty and hunger, has banished dictators from the face of this world, has it finished solving this planet's environmental and social issues? We think not... Yet it has time to turn its attention to Greece and slam our military because it does not cut some slack with new soldiers. If Greece did this then Turkey would hold a jubilee! Is this what Amnesty really wants... hmmmmm.... (Eleos!)

Greece: Stop arbitrary prosecutions and arrests of conscientious objectors Amnesty International is concerned about the latest wave of prosecutions of conscientious objectors in Greece. The organisation is concerned that their prosecution and punishment, in some cases repeatedly for the same act of refusing to perform military service on conscientious grounds, violates their right to freedom of conscience.
Those who have been detained, in violation of their right to conscientious objection to military service, have been prisoners of conscience and have been subjected to arbitrary arrest and detention.
The organization also reiterates its concerns over the punitive nature of the alternative civilian service in Greece. Those who have a conscientious objection to carrying out military service are required to perform an alternative civilian service of 15 months, which is much longer than the nine months’ military service in the Land Forces, where the majority of conscripts serve. As such it has a punitive nature and discriminates against conscientious objectors to military service, and therefore it is incompatible with European and international human rights standards.
Accordingly, prosecuting and punishing conscientious objectors for refusing to carry out military service or, in the case of total objectors, for also refusing to carry out the punitive and discriminatory alternative service, amounts to prosecuting and punishing them for exercising their right to freedom of conscience, in violation of Greece’s international human rights obligations. - Read more at Amnesty International website
