Governor Schwarzenegger calls the health care bill a disaster for California, and considers it a trough of bribes, deals, fakelakis, Gregories, and loopholes. Fakelaki is envelope containing bribe in cash. Basil Venitis points out Gregory means fast in Greek. Gregory's tax is fakelaki for fast service. Without it, you will wait for ever! All Athenians know very well that without Gregory they will have to wait many months before a state physician could see them. If you want a surgery, you will have to give the state surgeon at least 5,000 euros kickback, that beloved Gregory! The surgeon would ask you how is Gregory. If you do not present Gregory, you will have to come back months later to answer the same question. If Gregory is not fat enough, the surgeon might pseudoforget his scissors inside you!
Schwarzenegger points out Amerikleptocrats are about to pile billions more onto California with the new health care bill. While before Schwarzenegger enthusiastically supported health care reform, he now realizes it is not reform to push more costs onto states that are already struggling while other states are getting sweetheart deals. Schwarzenegger asserts that health care reform, which started as noble and needed legislation, has become a trough of corruption. Yet you've heard of the bridge to nowhere. Well, this is health care to nowhere.
Schwarzenegger insists that California's congressional delegation should either vote against this bill that is a disaster for California or get in there and fight for the same sweetheart deal that Senator Nelson of Nebraska got for the Cornhusker State. Because that senator got for the Cornhusker State the corn and Californians got the husk.
This health care reform process has been corruption at its worst: buying off votes with bribes and sweetheart deals, backroom deals and votes in the middle of the night, and broken promises by refusing to show the negotiations on C-SPAN. Venitis points out Mustang Ranch, the most profitable brothel in America, went belly up after Uncle Sam took over. Government should put the people back in charge of healthcare by expanding healthcare tax credits and deductions, increasing access to Health Savings Accounts, respecting privacy and the doctor-patient relationship. Politicizing and bureaucratizing of healthcare increases costs and reduces quality.
Obama is less concerned with what's in the final bill than with just passing something, no matter how much corruption it takes. Obama has discovered all sorts of things there that have nothing whatever to do with insuring the uninsured, and everything to do with taking medical decisions out of the hands of doctors and their patients, and transferring them to Amerikleptocrats.
